Things get off-pun unintended but seems quite apt for this first book-to a too-hot-to-be-bothered start with Savage Prince, with Temperance Ransom, who was Keira Mount née Kilgore's assistant in Ruthless King and Defiant Queen but later promoted to COO in Sinful Empire. There's a whole lot of story that goes on as well, and just like in the case of her Mount trilogy, the story arc plays throughout the three books set for her trio of Savage books. But here's the thing: they aren't just about sex. This author makes no apologies for how downright dirty-in an absolutely sexy way-her books are, and if her loyal readers are being honest, that's a huge part of why her books are as popular as they are. ![]() Leave your inhibitions at the door, or in this case, at the front cover of this book, because Meghan March is back with the first book in her Savage series, which happens to be part of her Anti-Heroes collection. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The archaic Chinese character 眞 was reduced into 真, which is the Traditional Chinese character, Simplified Chinese character, and Japanese Kanji. The common Chinese word zhen 真 "true real authentic" is linguistically unusual. The Final Revival of Opal and Nev Synopsis It also added a bit more depth and a bit of sweetness. The pear paired (ha) really nicely with the flavours of the original drink. My version was, in my (and Tom’s) opinion, even better. The original Corpse Reviver was a nice, nuanced drink, but a bit too lemon-y for Tom. ![]() I’ll be honest, I was worried about how this one would taste since I’m not a fan of Absinthe, but I was pleasantly surprised. But then I found the Golden Pear Liqueur and my ingredient dreams were realized! ![]() The problem was the only thing I could think of was Goldschläger and I don’t like cinnamon, so I wasn’t too keen on using it. So, I knew I wanted to make my special ingredient connect with that. There are a lot of songs in this novel, but the one that stood out to me was “Girl in Gold” as it’s essentially the song that starts it all for Opal and Nev. I chose this ingredient mainly because of the golden aspect. My special ingredient this week is Golden Pear Liqueur. ![]() ![]() An examination of the exotic or unusual service animals involved in litigation shows that the courts have been able to balance safety concerns against the rights of people with disabilities under the ADA and weed out unreasonable service animals, as well as those individuals who have sought to manipulate the ADA into allowing them to keep a forbidden pet. ![]() Although public safety and reasonableness must be considered, the courts have handled those concerns ably under the current open-ended regulation. The story is narrated by Etsuko, a Japanese woman who came to England with her second husband, and it begins with an unexpected visit from her younger daughter, Niki.
